THE WEATHER RAP Tue Jan 19 It's January and it definitely feels like winter, doesn't it! Will it change any time soon? Not really, cold and snowy conditions should be with us for some time to come! Tuesday's high temp improves a little, mid 10's, followed by another Alberta Clipper which could bring some substantial snow to our region, tonight and overnight! Current thinking is that 2 to 3 inches are likely to fall with isolated higher amounts possible! Stay with me on this one! After the snow moves out on Wednesday morning we'll experience moderating Temps in the mid 20's in the afternoon. Don't think this is the end of the current cold spell, nothing is farther from the truth. More Arctic air will quickly move into SE Wisconsin on Wed Night along with a period of accumulating snow. Short duration snow but an inch or two is possible! Remainder of the week bone-chilling cold will be with us, with breezy conditions and a few flurries at times! Thursday's Highs might still reach the 10's, but the overnight low will likely hit the 10's BELOW ZERO! Needless to say, Friday's high will NOT climb above zero! With another ice cold night to follow. (lower -10's) The Weekend will not bring much improvement, just a little bit. Highs reaching the single digits on Saturday and the 10's on Sunday (and Monday).
